摘要：Cellular materials have been widely used in various engineering sectors. This talk will introduce the latest research progresses on the mechanical behaviour cellular solids. It will cover the image-based modeling technique, meso-scale numerical modeling technique, dynamic behavior of cellular materials, and the applications of cellular solids in various engineering fields.

简介： Dr. Qingming Li (李庆明) is currently a Professor of Applied Mechanics and the leader of Impact and Explosion Research Group at The University of Manchester. He received his BSc and MSc from Peking University and PhD and Doctor of Engineering (DEng) from University of Liverpool. His research covers structural crashworthiness, penetration, mechanics of cellular materials, structural dynamics and shock environment. He is the Fellow of Institute of Mechanical Engineering, and the excutive/advisory board members of International Association of Protective Structures and International Society of Impact Engineering. He is the editorial board members of several international journals, and the associate editor of International Journal of Impact Engineering.
